Rooted in the singer’s sportswear styling, our latest collaboration with the Amy Winehouse Foundation has a youthful and optimistic spirit, inspired by her love of ‘60s soul music and the bright colour palette of Amy’s make-up. Taking the Fred Perry Shirt as its starting point, we have adapted the classic Fred Perry Shirt silhouette with a knitted structure and two signature love hearts above the Laurel Wreath, a reference to Amy’s distinctive tattoos. We continue to work with the Amy Winehouse Foundation, supporting the charity’s vital work and donating with each collection.
20% of the net revenue received by Fred Perry goes to the Amy Winehouse Foundation (Reg. Charity no: 1143740), estimated to amount to £280,000 per year. The Amy Winehouse Foundation is a registered charity in England and Wales set up in the memory of the late singer. The Charity works to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse on young people. It also aims to support, inform and inspire vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to help them reach their full potential.
